Cross-domain cooperation to promote investment and create a new growth curve in North America

Mr. Hu Ruiqing, CEO of Medical Intelligence Accelerator, pointed out that innovation exchanges between Taiwan and the U.S. should deepen the transformation of technological highlights into concrete investment cooperation, and said that he would continue to cooperate with local partners in Los Angeles to build a strategic base of “Parallel Silicon Valley” in the North American market.

Edison Chen PhD, CEO of TeaLa, USA, one of the organizers of the event, also emphasized that the enterprises that came to the U.S. this time covered high-tech, AI, green energy and food technology, demonstrating Taiwan's all-round industrial energy. TeaLa will also cooperate with UCLA Anderson School of Management to match local MBA talents with Taiwanese companies to conduct market analysis and local operations. “People who know technology should be matched with people who know the market, and cross-border teaming will be a key strategy for Taiwanese companies to succeed on the ground,” Chen said. Mr. Chen pointed out.

He also emphasized that Taiwanese companies will no longer go to the U.S. for low-cost production, but to strengthen their core technologies and added value. “The reason for coming to the U.S. is not to save money, but to create value. This is a critical step for Taiwan's enterprises to upgrade.

Local governments and associations actively support Taiwan's business locations

George Chen, mayor of Torrance, also attended the event and said that Torrance's proximity to the airport and port, as well as its excellent security and business environment, make it an ideal location for Taiwanese businesses to invest and set up factories.
